Half Day Workshop

Everyone has a story, but many hesitate to write it down. Writing your life story is not just about recording events. It's about capturing the emotions, lessons, and experiences that define who you are. Whether you're reflecting on a single pivotal moment or sharing the tapestry of your entire life, your story is uniquely yours, filled with moments that can inspire, heal, and connect others.

״The pen that writes your life story must be held in your own hand.״
- Irene C Kassorla

About me

With a BA in Writing and Media, I've spent over 25 years cultivating a deep passion for storytelling in all its forms. I began writing as a child, using it as a way to process and vent the complexities of life. This early connection to writing blossomed into a career that spans creative writing, short story composition, journalism, and life writing.

Over the years, I've had the privilege of sharing my knowledge and experience as a tutor in creative and life writing. My teaching approach is rooted in a deep understanding of the power of personal expression, and I'm dedicated to helping students find their unique voice on the page.

I believe that every story, whether it's a fictional narrative or a memoir, is an opportunity to connect with others and make sense of our personal journeys.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

Desley Polmear

I did my memoir in 2014 for my family. When I took part in the 7-Day Challenge I was surprised how much I remembered that wasn't in my original book. I enjoyed doing the Challenge and following Karen's guidence.
